My 5-year-old daughter got this for Christmas. She loves hamming it up singing, and this mic is perfect. She can use it by herself, turning it on, adding music and clapping, adjusting the stand. She won't let her brothers use it, but sometimes they do if she's not in the room.
And the sound quality is pretty good. She can hear her voice through the microphone as she sings, which is a feature I wanted.

My 3 and a half year old son loves this microphone - he plays his guitar while singing into the microphone - it's adjustable so I can adjust it to his height. Great product at a good price.

My daughter loved this microphone and stand for all of about 6 hours when the microphone stopped working. We happened to have an american idol microphone that was about the same size and and went to radio shack to buy a smaller plug and are now using that microphone instead. She still loves it (with the new microphone we had to use)...

DO NOT BUY. We've purchased three of these and all of them have broken within the first week. The connection of the microphone and the speaker malfunctions causing it not to work anymore.

Fun toy, poor quality Jan 14, 2008

We loved this toy and had so much fun with the little performances our kids put on for us with it. All the reviews said that the mike would break, and sure enough, 2 weeks after getting it the mike is broken. We can jiggle it a little and get it to work for a minute, but it is very frustrating. Wish it worked!!
